Saturday, July 29, 2006 4:56 PM Haha! It seems like Racial Harmony was just yesterday. How fast time flies! Yes. It's my FAVOURITE day- Friday. Yes, after school, both Andre and me were trying to do our work at different places, at different time and with different positions. As in, sometimes we sat on benches, if not sofa, or floor. We kept shifting our 'working' location just because our environment was not conducive at all! So noisy. How can we concentrate in doing what we wanna do? *grins* Oral topic: Even the best laid plans often fail. What is your view? Me: I AGREE!!! Suddenly while Andre and me were doing our things, POPS EDWIN~!!!!! I rushed to him and jumped onto him like some Kola bear. HE'S FINALLY BACK!!!!!!! Alrite. I've got really high when the night set in. I was laughing my ass off with Hector, my glower friend. He: "What is it?" Me: "It's not funny!" I dunno how and I dunno what. We just laughed and laughed and laughed for no reason! Next, is the BEST. Hector, Taariq and me were watching some DRAMA-MAMA skit. *Andre wanted to hit Mel's shoulder, but she had suddenly raised up her hand. And OPPS! He hits her!* I quickly covered Taariq's eyes as he was not yet 16!!! But Hector and me were! =D *Mel and Andre got into a 'fight', pushing him to the floor! Violence!!* Shit! It's M18!! *Mel bent down and leaned on the bench. Andre was still sitting on the bench. How come the scene was so familiar? OH! It's from American's Pie!! BJ!!!* It's R21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally High. Totally Drunk. Totally total!! Sunday, July 23, 2006 10:50 PM Okay. Today IS the day. A day that I had longed for so long. A day that makes me nervous. A day that has been bothering me. A day that makes me feel motivated to run. NONO. Not my wedding day. But a day of competition - SMRT CHALLENGE!! Okay, at first Andre and me was like ‘aiya, small event la, perhaps only 10 teams signed up’ BUT who knows! There were 98 teams in the Student Category!!!! And there were also Open Category and Family Category! CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW BIG SCALE IT IS?! Okay, it was really fun today, though we were the 28th team out of 98th to reach the final checkpoint. We were so so so high and practically thought we could win! And just become of one mistake we’d made that led us to a wrong station, everything else was so lucky for us!! HAHA! And, we were DAMN DAMN DAMN tired after the whole race, as we were really running like mad dogs! NO. SPRINTING, for such long distances that I could really DIE! Alright la, met with some really cute aunties and uncles but also, some bitch and bastard. That guy even blocked us from running to the checkpoint AND kicked Andre’s shin. That was totally no sportsmanship rite?! So bloody irritating one leh! Anyway, we had did our best and was glad that we HAD completed the race, just that we were slower by 10 minutes! Aiyea, if only we didn’t go to the wrong station! Nevermind! SMRT CHALLENGE 2007 HERE I AM!!!! 10:45 PM Alrite! It was a Racial Harmony Teacher’s Concert! It was a concert to raise fund for the school to install air conditioners in our hall! Okay, I can tell you, the concert was awesome, fabulous, marvellous, fantastic, excellent!! It was so so so hot! I mean the teachers and their performances! I think they could just make the guys in the hall nose bleed! YES! It was THAT HOT! The concert starts at 7, but I came earlier at 6, to chomp [reserve] seats. However, not only I was the witty one, there were another 20 plus people who came so much earlier for the same purpose! Oh my god, is this why ‘kiasu’ is Singporean’s unique characteristic?! Okay, totally unbelievable. But the concert was even more amazing! Once the clock struck 7, the emcees brought the crowd to their seats and started the concert. They were Ms Hanna Yeo and Mr Gabriel Sim. There were many performances that were really an eye opening for us, as we didn’t know that our teachers are actually that TALENTED! Firstly, the concert started off with some oldie singings by some teachers, like mr yap and stuff. Their voices were sooooooooo NICE!!! Ahh!! Oh then there was Belly Dancing. Omg. Ms Tang was SOOOO HOT!!! There were also other teachers as well. So sexay! Next, we have Jungle Boys featuring Mr Sim and Mr Bernard, then Guess Which Teacher guessing photos competition, Hunky Monkeys- a boy band consists of 5 male teachers [Mr Wong, Mr Tan, Mr Peterson, Mr Lee, Mr Sum]. We also have Love Duets featuring Mdm Koh and Mr Sum, Guess Which Teacher guessing voice competition. There were also S.H.E band by Lan Laoshi, Ms Koh and Ms Thong, classroom skit put up by the Chinese Department. There were also some beauty contests for Mr Dunman and Miss Dunman! There were simply just so many interesting performances!! Did I miss out any? Oh, so lastly, the concert ended off with a skit put up by Mrs Neo[Tracy], Mr Ling[Some nerd], Mr Sim[Some beng], Ms Yeo and Mdm Koh [Some acbc girls], Ms Yew[depressed Avril], and Mr Bernard [Usher, Tracy’s Bf]. The skit was so funny alrite, we were all laughing like some mad people having too much of estacy! Especially the part where Mrs Neo was PROMOTING the Dunman doll! HAHA! Oh, and also, the last performance by some teachers performing the malay instrument thing, what is it called? =X Yeah, and by wrapping the whole concert, all the teachers and principals etc sang together with us to end the wonderful night! It was too worth it! 10 bucks!! Omg!! The school should have another talent show kinda concert!!! Our teachers ARE talented!! Please please! Organize another one soon!! 10:14 PM Alrite, this year I was really overjoyed! I was really glad to see that the whole 4A wore ethnic costumes to school that day!! Yeah, of course it was after much effort of persuaing, forcing, hypnotising and sweet-talking! Nevertheless, we were nominated for one of the best dressed classes!! I bet it had NEVER happened in history before that 4A was the nominee! HAHA! Right, we will know the result on Monday, hope we could beat 5A and 5B! GAMBATEK 4A!!! ^^V So yeah, you know what, the whole class wore those customes for Chemistry lesson and we were supposed to do practical!! YAH! So cute la the whole class! Like what Andre had commented, we were looking like some old ancient scientists trying to invent some new things! Wahahaha!!         I'm so happy! YEAH!!! People listened up!! My sister is getting married!!! YEAHH!! Finallyy.................. Yeah. Finally after so many many relationships. Tsktsk. And what?! That guy is her secondary 2 classmate!! OMG!! BEWARE PPL!! Who knows the one you're talking to todae will be your husband next time?! And yeah. John korkor had finally proposed to her. And the moment she reached home, she's beaming like some Buddha!! She was showing off her DIAMOND ring la! LOL! And her bouquet of roses! Awww. So sweeeeeeeet!! I wonder how he proposed to her one! Haha!!! Anyway, I'm very happy for her!! Finally she's getting married.. Hais.. So relieved to see that! CONGRATULATION!!!! ^^V Have more kids!!! =D 4:56 PM

Friday, July 07, 2006 10:44 PM HMM. No new updates recently cause I've been kinda busy, Firstly, busy for finding my stupid damn phone which I had to go down to TM for a few days. Secondly, I've been staying with our dear Wanting since last Wednesday already. So can't use internet. =) Oh. Yeah, cause her mum's overseas, thus I'll be staying with her till this coming thursdae I supposed. Yups, it's a very good experience to stay with your classmate. For you'll have to eat, shit, study, sleep, shower and go school together. [why all start with S?! except eat] Haha. We sounded like some couple you know. LOL!
So ya, we bought ingredients back home to cook our first dinner, which was Yong Tou Foo Udon! =D Yups, we bought ikan bilis to make the soup base =) clever rite. HEHE. So excited to make our first dinner!! ^^V The moment we reached home, we separated our task. She went shower and I make the soup first. So when she's out, we put in the ingredients together and tried to add flavour to the soup. We practically just added whatever we've got! Like teriyaki chicken sauce and grounded ginger. HEE!
AND.... *drum rolls* AND.... TADA!! Our dinner!! ^^V
Monday, July 03, 2006 12:12 PM Alrite. Let me relate this very complicated phone story. Ready? It's a fine Monday and Taariq, Andre and me went to Tampines Mall to search for my sister's and Taariq's brother's birthday present. So after lunch we went to find and landed ourselves at this Urban Concept shop. So while paying, I'd absent mindedly left my O2 phone on the cashier desk. Therefore, the next day, I went back with Eirene and Taariq to check out the Urban Concept. Indeed, I'd left it there and the boss of the shop had helpfully returned the phone to some security. Thus, I went to the security HQ to ask about my phone. Then the guy asked me to go to the Customer Service counter, which asked me to go back to the HQ again. [irritating rite] Kays, afterwhich I talked to this very nice security guard called Ramu. She brought me back to Urban Concept to ask about my phone. The boss was not there so the other boys told her the story that the boss [named Eugene] had returned it to some night guard. So, Ramu said, night guards were not here for duty yet, so she would help me to ask about the phone later in the evening and asked me to come back again tml for it. So I happily brought home such high hope that I would receive my phone back tomorrow. I was so high in spirit. Who knows. Tomorrow when I went back, security Ramu told me that there was some misunderstanding and asked me to speak to Mr Eugene from Urban Concept. So i went, and he told me the whole story. He told me that he had indeed passed it to a security who turned out NOT to be a security from TM. They suspected that the security would be from the Courts, as their security had similiar uniforms yet they were not under TM security. So when they went to confront the Courts security, the supervisor of the security asked innocently if it was this phone when he fished out from his pocket. Yes! Exactly! That was what Mr Eugene had said. But, the supervisor's other peers inisisted that that was HIS phone. Yeah, HIS phone, what can we do, Eugene said. Upon hearing this from him, I was damn sad la. Gave me such a high hope and yet giving me this kinda shit result. Thus I went back to the HQ, security Ramu promised me to find it back and requested for another few days of investigations. However, I'd lost hope already, since that Eugene said this matter should drop. Three days later, I received a phone call from security Ramu, she told me that Mr Eugene had found an O2 phone in his Urban Concept letterbox. She asked me to come down on Sunday [which was ytd] to check if it was my phone. So I went down ytd and indeed it was MY phone, with the scratches at the side. SIGH. About so much of hussle and stuff, the phone was finally ROTATED back to me! I tink that supervisor was guilty lor... I mean in the end if the investigation continues, he would be found out right. Can't possibly that the phone just gone missing rite. sigh. Whatever it is, I am very grateful to Mr Eugene and security Ramu. I mean, even though i didn't had my phone back I would still wanna thank them. Especially Mr Eugene, as he did RETURN the phone, just that to a wrong person. Sigh Sigh Sigh, now it was Mel's turn to lose her phone when I'd got back mine. |
