Friday, August 04, 2006 11:32 PM Let me share with you this friend that I had met when I was in Secondary 1. He was a super huge guy yeah. I knew him through some netball frenlies years back. After the frenly, somehow he was in my msn contact. We barely knew each other, except for our existence in school. All along, I had mistaken him as the guy that I had a crush on. But he was not! Only after some time then did I realised that he was my crush's friend. So embarassing alrite! But till now, I still hadn't told him about it =P He was the one that teaches me more about life. As he had a more messy family background, he would usually confide in me and from there, I learnt to be more appreciative of everything. We shared jokes and sorrow too. That was how, I don't know, that he became my crush. Haha. However, at that point of time, he liked another girl. We still talked and stuff, but slowly my infatuation for him had faded away and I only treated him as a big brother. Coincidentally or is it fated I don't know, he confessed to me that he likes me. After his confession, being an immature girl, I would find excuses to prevent any form of communication between us. No matter what, after his graduation, we're still in contact. Although our relationship is not as close as before and we had hardly spoken to each other, I'm glad that he still confides in me as a sister when he needed someone. And I know that whenever I need someone to talk to, I'll always have this big brother to lean on. It's really nice to receive greeting messages on your way home alone in the night. They just make you smile foolishly at your phone screen, no matter how bad your day was. Cause I know there's someone who cares =) |
