Wednesday, January 31, 2007 7:16 PM Yup. On my way home, I saw this really neon orange coloured sun. It's setting down. It was being eaten up by the horizon every second. I took a few seconds to enjoy it, while standing at the corridoors. I look around the flats, and I supposed I'm the only one watching. People must be saying. Sunset? It's setting everyday. If you can't catch it today, catch it tomorrow! And if tomorrow, you're still unable to, try the next other day! Anyway, it's always there. You'll have plenty of chances to watch it. Yes. So I ended up at Meridian and under Callisto Group 5. I'm glad that my teammates are like so crazy?! Hahaha yeah! There are Marcus, Sidney, Gerald, Jaryl, Benjamin, Melvin, Nicholas, LingMei, Kelly, Amanda, Peiwen, Melissa, Natasha, Lois, Iris, Joanna, Yumin, Huifen, Kitmun, Aundrea and ME!! =D
Yup! My OG (Orientation Group) and our OGL are Jean, Xueheng (Maria) and Jian Xing ( Samantha!). Wahahahha. Yes! That's how the OGL made us get to know/remember them better, by giving us their funny names!!! So yeah, our group started off quiet and shy, I think that's rather typical la. Afterwhich, we showed our rowdiness and stufff and we became very ON lor! Although we don't win in small compeititions and stuff, we won the OVERALL CAMPFIRE PERFORMANCE!! And hence, we got 2nd OVERALL, yeah, a big jump from the last position of 6th. WAHAHAHAHA! Oh we came up with our own cheers and song too! And we're really enjoying myself. That's for sure. I really did. Though there's some small small problems. But overall was SO GOOOOOOOOD!!! So yeah, we had out BBQ last Saturday as well! Initially it was raining and fire couldn't be started, so we got a bit disappointed. But after the rain had gone, I started the fire! Omg. I'm so happy la. Cause it was my virginal attempt at starting a fire!! GOSH GOSH!! Wahahahhaha! OKAY CRAP. So ya... we had our 'dinner' blahh blahhh. And we had a mini 8-man twister game. Hahahaha! I was one of the LONGEST ONE! I supposed? HAHAHAHA! Yeah, before heading back with Marcus, Melvin, Natasha and Iris. I was supposed to meet Andre la, but something cropped up. So instead, we had Jolly Shandy and Hazulnut chocolate under the sparsely starry skies! =D P.S.: WAH LAO! I think I look very old leh!! They allowed me to buy alcoholic drinks! DAMNIT! =( 12:15 AM Today Renegades had training and yea we had meeting and stuff.. then we came up with severval positions to take and I've gotten the Event Manager(those that plan outings!! =D)! So yea, I'm very excited la, to have our very next Chinese New Year BBQ at Prasanna's house! Yup and we're gonna have games like musical chairs, twisters and treasure hunt! Oh we're gonna have this gift exchange as well! The gifts have to be within the budget of 2 dollars! Coach gave us ideas like dying shoe laces, bookmarks and etc! Hmm.... what should I get!? So yeah, ended training but left the girls, didn't go lunching with them. Instead, I met my parents for lunch yea. After that I went home to shower before heading out to meet Andre. So yeah we went straight to flea market, after having a rather hard time meeting him IN the train. Hur. We walked around in Cine and I bought a pair of RED ripples slippers! WOOHOO! Then we went to flea market, where we met Andre's frens' frens' frens. All together la. HAHA. I bought 2 pairs of earrings there too! =D Hmmm. After flea market, we went to Borders to find Andre's some lit book which was out of stock. So yeah, after which we went to get Andre's LIMITED EDITION GREEN ADIDAS JACKET from some building which I dunno what is it called. That damn lucky chap! Tsk tsk! Hmmm. Then we went in the building for further shopping. I wanted to get a wallet, but none seems to have caught my eye. =( Carry on! So we went Far East where we went for further shopping to find my Chinese New Year clothes and stuff. Then Elroy joined us and we went around with him to get his shoes. He's like, too much money to spend on. LOL. Okay... So yeah, we were Hmmm. Before dinner, I was already having some pains at my diaphragm area? Dunno la, the area above my stomach. Well, I thought it was gastric, but Elroy said no. Cause after dinner, the pain was more and it's really killing. Initially it was really very very painful, after after some time, although it was better, still it hurts like hell. I don't know what's wrong. Elroy said it may be due to some gall bladder thingie. GOSH! Yeah, now I'm at home, but the pain hasn't subside yet la. Sigh. Pain, pain, go away. Come again some other day! P.S. : You must tell yourself that, life is wonderful. 10:38 PM So yeah, after work, I went to meet the rest at Cityhall Mrt where they told I was a ballerina!! Hahaha! Yes, it was also their first time seeing me in my bunned hair and make-up. Yeah! I do have tragic story kay.... on my first day of work. =X So yeah, they told me that they had just pissed off a gang of Bengsons. Haha. Don't have to say much about the details la. So yeah. We went to Bishan, where Mel's house is. We lunched there, with dishes that were 90% chicken based. Haha! Dishes like stew chicken, curry chicken and etc. After lunch, we gave Eirene her present, before she left for her family dinner. So yeah.. we exchanged presents too!!! And I absolutely love the presents that all of them gave me! Hahahaha! Yes yes yes! Love you guys la! =D
Let me tell you what I've received.
After exchanging presents, we went home lor.. A rather quiet Christmas. But perhaps it was also due to our tiredness? Or are we just old already? You know something, 16, 17 are not a good age to have fun lor.. Teens of such age are hyper active and want FUN. Yes and Craziness. So where else can we go when we can't roam around in Orchard madly and dance in clubs sweatily?! Got... home lor... ;) 8:04 PM Sometimes when you're lucky, you get friends that can see through you, those that know you inside out. Scary huh. Haha. However, this don't happen all the time. Sunday, January 14, 2007 10:59 AM Yes! So Christmas Eve, Edwin, Taariq, Prasanna, Peiwen went to Spageddies for dinner! Yes, while waiting our dear Andre Wank la, to meet us after his Taiwan's trip. I tell you, the food at Spageddies is GOODDD!!!! "Don't Believe Me, Try It Yourself!" ---- Mrs Low, new vice-principal of Dunman Secondary.
Haha. We were cheated. Jiayi told us that sprays were banned in Singapore. So we believed her and went to Orchard unarmed. Time was running and when it was nearing to midnight, people started spraying around and the police were not stopping them. We were stunned. We were really stunned. Cause last year we came here also to spray and equipped ourselves with necessary things like sprays (DUH), towels, clothings etc. But this year we didn't! So the only way to avoid such collisons between Bengsons and Blangahs is to.... DODGE! The following guides helped the 4 of us to escape from any major attacks:
Yeah, so we settled in front of Ngee Ann is it? Don't know where la. Some place where we were surrounded by relatively old people. Hahaha! So yeah, we got surrounded by them, which was what we wanted. Cause those old people would take out their umbrellas to block out the sprays and stuff and we were protected then! Oh there was this uncle, so sexual la! Waving one long long twisted-into-penis-shape balloon to brush away the spray. Sometimes it's gentle, but sometimes the waves were vigourous! We were all laughing like MAD!
This was how crazy those Bengsons and Blangahs were. So crazy until....
So blah blah.... I went home around 2++ almost 3am. So showered and stuff before I started to wrap all the Christmas presents la.... It was so tiring! Then I went to work without sleeping, cause I had to go to leave house at 530am thus no time to sleep.. Yup, I left for work with big big bags of Christmas presents lor.... and panda eyes. But after work at Mel's place for lunch was what that excites me! Ok!!! To be continued!!! =D Wednesday, January 10, 2007 11:58 PM Yes. Finally the tenting post after like 1566872115651313 years. =D So yea, had game that night at Kallang. After which we met up at Andre's house at 10 plus in the night so that we could take a lift from his mum to ECP. So funny la, we reached there like 12 midnight?! Whereas tenting people were already Nevertheless, we pitched our tent in less than 10 minutes! Yeah, as Singaporeans, we always like to tent at a place near to FACILITIES la. So ya. Hahaha! So we wouldn't die. =/ So what we did ar? I don't quite remember the details la, cause it's donkey years already. =X So yea, remembered that we played the tyrabanks-swim-frittening game! Yes! Initiated by Andre and me! This game consists of acting what the paper you'd drawn stated. So yea, there's 3 sections, one will be the verbs, the other one is the adjectives, and lastly, the message to be said by the person while doing the actions! So yea, Edwin got (IN CONSTRUCTION BECAUSE I CAN'T RMB AT THE MOMENT. HAHA!)
